Youth Leadership Training Programme

• Participants: 40 selected youths and students from Heirok and surrounding areas including Wangjing, Salungpham, Langathel, Kairembikhok, Ukhongsang, Langmeithet, Nongpok Sekmai, Lamding, and Sangaiyumpham.

  • Leadership Definitions and Decision-Making: Understanding what defines leadership and the decision-making process.
  • Types of Decisions and Management: Exploring different types of decisions and how they impact management.
  • Leadership Styles: Learning about various leadership styles and their effectiveness.
  • Leadership and Power: Examining the relationship between leadership and power.
  • Gender and Leadership: Discussing the role of gender in leadership and its implications.
  • Team vs. Group Dynamics: Differentiating between team dynamics and group dynamics.
• Trainers: Four resource persons conducted in-depth sessions on these topics, providing valuable insights and practical knowledge.

Agricultural and Horticultural Development Programme

Overview: The “Bal Shiksha Diwas” programmes were conducted throughout the year 2018-2019 to support educational development and provide essential resources to students. These events were sponsored by prominent corporations and aimed to promote educational resources and support.

   • Sponsors: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Limited
   • Activities: Lectures on the roles of sponsors, distribution of school-related materials including school bags, books, geometry boxes, stationery items, school uniforms, umbrellas, lunch boxes, and water bottles.

Objective: To support educational development by providing resources and promoting awareness about the roles of sponsoring organizations.
